  Anthony Healy

  MD

  Dr. Anthony Healy has always known that he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. “I went into medicine because I wanted to combine my skills of empathy and relatability to positively impact the health of my community,” he says. Dr. Healy actively listens to his patients and treats them like family. He wants them to know he is on their side. “I ask what they are and are not willing to change about their health and how I can help,” he explains. If he could change anything about healthcare today, he would lower the cost of specialty care and make primary care more accessible. When not with patients, Dr. Healy loves cooking, exercising, spending quality time with his wife and children. He also enjoys playing and watching soccer.

  Poovizhi Selvi Velmurugan

  Poovizhi Selvi Velmurugan was drawn to healthcare after seeing the difference medical professionals make in people’s lives. “My favorite part of my profession is the love given back to me by my patients after caring for them. It gives me a sense of accomplishment,” she says. She Practices Siddha Medicine, which focuses predominantly on herbal medicine, food and lifestyle. She describes herself as a “people person” and lists “listening” as her main strength. She values the opportunity to care for seniors. “We nourish and flourish from the advice and wisdom of seniors,” she says. In her free time, Poovizhi Selvi Velmurugan enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also likes to cook, garden, dance and involve in various community activities through multiple non-profit organizations.
